The Best ‘Can’t Stop Eating’ Bruschetta Ever!



bruschetta Oh my goodness!  Wait until you try this fast and ever so easy recipe! 

In the unlikely event it doesn’t get eaten the first day, it tastes even better the next day!

 

Best ‘Can’t Stop Eating’  BRUSCHETTA

  • 5 ROMA TOMATOES (or 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 tablespoons FRESH BASIL LEAVES, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
  • 1 CLOVE GARLIC, finely chopped
  • just a little SALT AND PEPPER to taste
  • a drizzle of BALSAMIC VINEGAR
  • 1 FRENCH BAGUETTE BREAD sliced into 1/2 inch rounds and toasted
  • 2 tablespoons EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

To make this best Bruschetta Ever:

MIX the TOMATOES, BASIL, OLIVE OIL and GARLIC together in bowl.  ADD a little SALT AND PEPPER to taste.  DRIZZLE a little BALSAMIC VINEGAR over top.

Refrigerate until ready to serve (the longer the better!)

 

To Make the TOASTED BAGUETTE slices for the best BRUSCHETTA ever:

CUT the BAGUETTE into 1/2 inch slices.  ARRANGE bread slices on cooking tray. BRUSH each slice with the EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL.

BAKE 10-12 minutes in 375 degree oven or until lightly browned.

 

SPOON BRUSCHETTA MIXTURE ONTO TOASTED SLICES—YUM, YUM, YUM!!!
